Well, "World Youth Day" is on in July - 15-19, they have already eracted 1 hour parking signs out the front of my freaking house., and the main way out of here is right past one of the main venues....

So, how's July for Ningaloo diving? :D

Z...

Great pictures! What luck to see more than one mating pair.

Am I the only one that can't tell what they are doing??

They are beautiful shots, but I still don't see it...

No I don't see it either but the pictures are very nice.

I guess I'm not pervy enough to get Octo Porn

We see mating pairs quite often. Mating season seems to come around a few times a year and right now things are rocking for the Occies. I'd say you'd be unlucky right now not to see a couple of mating pairs, at least, per dive :)

We are oh so spoiled here on the Ningaloo Reef. It's a long way to get here, but why would you want to be anywhere else! LOL

Zeeman - July is fabulous, but I won't be here - I'll be at the Invasion LOL. July has great whale sharks, manta rays, humpback whales and all the usual suspects, too. I'm sad to miss July, but August will be just as good, if without the whale sharks!

Hehe - do a little googling on octopus and how they mate. The males uses an arm for the festivities. The males must do amazing displays to interest the females before they can even "date". Octopus are very tactile creatures and there is a lot of foreplay involved
