what settings? Lots of vignettin
 
yup it's the edge of the torch beam. It's a wide angle torch but, being the first film, I didn't think to set up the camera differently.
 
I was also curious as to why he would use a filter if he is using a light....
 
Cool octopus:) Yea a lot of "snowstorm". Better with two lights and get the "cone of dark" in the middle. A filter on nightdive with lights is not neccesary. The best is two dimmable lights ( some shots are "whiteout" / too much light) But you learn by doing.
