Hello! ANyone have any suggestions/recommendations on night diving in Bonaire? Thanks!:D

The reef at Buddy Dive is also nice..if you are not staying there just park in the lot near the road and just walk down to the pier.
I have also enjoyed donkey beach right in front of the airport..very easy entry.

Just one suggestion..dont use a big, super bright light..it really scares the fish away.

+1 Salt Pier,

Buddy was too bad either lots of tarpon,

also "Something Special" was interesting not sure how to dive it on the shore since we went by boat.

P.S Also heard diving the Hooker at night is good, but I didn't get a chance, will be on my todo list next time.

I like the dive in front of Capt Dons. It is a well lit dock with a line run from dock down the reef to the bottom at 130 feet. You just pick a direction then turn around when you are ready and swim back until you find the line.

We would just dive our house reef (Bari Reef) since navigation was a cinch after having done it so much during the day. We're thinking of doing the UV night dive when we return to Bonaire next year.

Bari Reef is one of the best dives off Bonaire during the day, # 1 in REEF diversity survey. It is a wonderful dive at night.

Best, Craig

+ 2 Salt Pier. Buddy's Dive's DM Martin can take you there and really show you the sights. You can sign up there and meet at the tank drive through station.

I've done HH at night. It's great. Get a good compass heading from shore. Be careful getting in/out.

It's dark out there...

I have enough trouble getting in and out at the Hooker during the daytime. I think I'll be skipping that one.
