I did my first night dive tonight. Very cool dive. After a few minutes underwater getting my bearings and fixing my leaking mask, my buddy and I saw a few little octopi. None of the pics really came out very well (all out of focus or off center--I felt really clumsy tonight because of the first night dive), but some of the video was decent.

I actually got this video when we got a little close to one of the octopi and he started to swim away. There is sooo much more life down there at night. Lots of schools of little fish and lots of rock fish of various varieties.
Curiously enough, I didn't notice the shark warning sign until we got out (it was really small). Oh and we didn't see any sharks. I'll probably do some more night dives over the next few days. Looking forward to the Pt. Lobos dive on Monday.
