There was a dive shop last year in Burleson TX that closed down for good in Feb 2008. After multiple fire-sales, he still had a lot of stuff. I think he kept some stuff thinking he was going to get a lot of money for it, instead of selling it off in bulk packages. This might be some of that gear still flowing downstream.

Ah, this reminds me I'll be buying my first scuba tanks June of '09 (when my free dive shop air runs out).

Have priced a few sources. However, $200 sounds high for 11 year old tanks. Does it seem high to you?

We sell NEW AL 80s for that price, so I'd say Yep, seems high to me.

I know in my part of Tx. Al80's new run $149.95ea. on average. ?Maybe this fellow would cut the cost a wee bit......then I think it not so bad a deal for a couple of Al80's.
