Hi Thomas, and welcome to the board.

Please take the time to complete your user profile, so that we'll know more about you. Have you taken your certification class yet?

I'd suggest that you look in the New2Scuba and Basic Scuba Discussions forums for lots of good information for the beginning diver.

Welcome to the board and the sport,
Grier

Hello from Matt,

Welcome to ScubaBoard ! :1poke: I came here to look for help with my scuba diving dream and the response has been fantastic. So, I know you will enjoy being a member here.
There are a lot of nice and informative scuba divers. It's a good place to meet other divers and share experiences and dreams. Take care from Matt. :snorkels:

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Housing snakes sounds like an interesting hobby!

Don't forget to fill out the rest of your profile, so that we can add context to your future posts. It would help to know about your certification level and experience (if any) at this point.

If you are not certified yet and simply considering it (or for that matter if you are newly certified), I would suggest looking throught the forums that Grier suggested. You'll find a lot of great information that you should find helpful.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Welcome to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums.

We have so many members in your lovely country, it should have its own forum. We do have a Europe fourm, and I hope you'll check it out, along with New To Scuba.

PM me if I can help, and stay in touch....

Heya and welcome to the Board!!!! Do you have an idea when you might start taking your OW classes? Please keep us updated by posting a new thread on your progress, we really enjoy hearing the excitement the first time someone blows bubbles underwater. You'll also notice throughout the Board that we have plenty of teen divers here as well. If there's anything you have questions with,
there will always be someone here that can answer it for you, or find you an answer.

Cheers,
Vickie
