Scuabamedicbill hits the spot with Desecheo and Parguera. Im from the west side of the island of Puerto Rico and done Desecheo a few times. Its very nice. If you're going to stay for some time you can try to book a dive trip to Mona Island. If you're staying mainly on the east side try the Island of Culebra.

There's some great diving in Kauaii. Bubbles Below has an instructor by the name of Anthony who is the best that I have ever worked with. We got our advanced cert with him and it was money well spent. Make sure he shows you the Tacos, and have him show you a shore dive as well as the boat ones.
