Hi all

This is my first post - so a quick introduction is in order!

I have been diving for 10 years but only have 50 dives (ahem...) as I tend to only dive in warm water once or twice a year. As I live in London, UK this means I currently only dive when I am on holiday. Luckily my holidays take me to some interesting places, so I have dived in Australia, Brazil, Key West, Thailand and the Red Sea (the latter on a live-aboard - my only serious dive trip ever)

I recently completed my PADI rescue diver course and this has given me the confidence to try cold water diving and further my diving skills.

My main interest in diving is seeing diverse marine life and underwater landscapes. I don't mind the occasional wreck - but mostly because this is where a lot of marine life tends to be.

I look forward to getting your frank views on all matter of topics such as where to dive, what to buy, and how the different courses/ awarding bodies stack up.

Peter

welcome to SB.

Welcome on board....try to curry on toward dive master certification :) you will need 10 more dives to have 60 dives(which show that you have some experiance in deep diving, night diving and underwater navigation) which is one of the requirement for the dive master certification ;)

welcome aboard
