I grew up with Mike Nelson and Sea Hunt. Signed up for SCUBA at 17 the class participation was to small to hold. At college I spent my money on tuition and fermented beverages instead of the phy ed class. Needed your own equipment.

Now 35 plus years latter I have signed up. Read the dos and don't, Read the PADI book and watched the VCR and am more concerned with getting the breathing down. I understand it comes natural but an old dog doesn't always learn new tricks.

Doc said ok 6' 2" 200 lbs just doubts about failure.

Had some essentials and bought some better ones ei mask, fins and snorkel already looking forward to the advance water class. Don't start anything until April open water in WI is better in May but cold.

Anyway what about this breathing thing? Never smoked cigs.

He He got my feet wet, didn't drown and love this underwater life, what a laugh. I am a big bloke (sadly horizontally rather than vertically) so not to have such a close relationship with gravity for a while was a revelation. The staff were brilliant and I felt safe at all times. Roll on next week.

And Raya... Cornwall is still there and looking Loverly! ( I think I would rather be in Spain though)
