Hello to all. I'm new to the forum but dive the NC wrecks almost daily during the season. Primarily dive off the Crystal Coast but make the occasional run up the OBX or down toward FPS. Seems like some good information being passed along here so hopefully I can contribute a little and learn as well. Regards, coop

Hi coop1 - welcome! I hope you stick around.

I always appreciate when folks share quick dive reports. It lets me know what I'm missing. Diving almost every day? You're a lucky diver.

Thank you fireflock. Yes, I've the good fortune to spend most of my days diving. Decided to go back to school after some time in the Marine Corps so I had to find something to do with the free time on my hands. That, my personal boat, and a close association with a local charter operator, make it easier for me to accomplish this. I'm trying to enjoy it while I can though. Here's a quick report from the past week off the Crystal Coast.
Mon- rough. Liberty Ship (AR 315- viz 15' to deck 6' bottom)
Tues- Atlas (viz- 40' temp 75) Carib Sea (viz 25' temp 73)
Wed- Naeco stern (viz 70' temp 76) Spar no dive (viz 8') Hutton (viz 45-50' (yes 45-50) temp 73
Thurs- Papoose (viz 60' temp 75) Shurtz (viz 50' temp 75)
Fri- fished and dove a few rocks E of NW Place (viz 25 temp 73)
Sat- blown out

Hi Coop and welcome to SB! I think you're going to make everyone in this forum extremely jealous of your freedom to dive every day of the week. It would be great if you could occasionally post a dive report regarding your NC dives. Us less fortunate divers would really enjoy reading them. :D

suthnbelle, I'll keep you all posted with my posts.... you can even dive vicariously through me if you must ;) . I know what it's like to sit in an landlocked office, desiring to be under the water... Just placed a new thread in this forum with the weekend updates.
