Hello! Thought I'd introduce myself and share my story. 
I go by peajay and live in Kearney, NE.
I got PADI certified 17 years ago and never dove again after my open water certification dives in a frigid sandpit. Not that I didn't enjoy diving but life intervened and the funds for this hobby weren't ever available.
Hubby and I decided to take a 15th anniversary trip and chose to go to Cancun. After reading about things you can do in the Cancun area I convinced hubby that we really needed to scuba while there.
Hubby reluctantly gave in and got certified in June. I did a refresher dive last month. So that we can get a dive in with each other before we get to Cancun we are doing a Treasure Hunt dive this weekend put on by our LDS. Once we get through that and know we won't kill each other underwater we'll be ready hit the ocean!
My wish is that hubby loves diving and we can continue with the sport and see alot of new and neat things underwater.
