Newbie 1st stage question

Hey everyone, I am brand new to diving, just got my PADI OW certification last weekend.

The good news is someone gave me a regulator set-up! My newbiew question is this, the previus owner had a dry-suit so there is an extra hose coming out of the 1st stage that I won't be needing.

Is it possible to take the 1st stage into my LDS and have them just take the hose off and plug the hole?

Yes. It’s not a problem to plug the hole. When you take it to the dive shop have them overhaul (or at least inspect) your setup so you know all is well.

SoggySHoes nailed it. Removing the hose is a snap and be sure to have the rig at least inspected unless it came to you freshly serviced and you are confident about that.

I would get the old hose back....you may want it some day. Unscrew plug, screw in hose and your drysuit inflator is back.
