I'm going on a holiday in New York / Miami soon. Can somebody name some nice scuba shops in the area? So far, I've found out that Leisurepro has a store in NY right next to Adorama camera store.. I haven't been able to find a store selling StiX floats, which I intend to buy..

Thanks for the help!

If you are looking for a camera store in New York - B&H Photo would be my first stop.

Reef Photo in Ft. Lauderdale. About 30-40 minutes from Miami.

As far as scuba shops in Miami, I'm partial to Grove Scuba in an area of Miami known as Coconut Grove.

Yes, but not on a Sunday. You may not be able to get in.

Actually, getting in on Sunday isn't the problem. Saturday on the other hand....

Same is true of Leisurepro and Adorama. All are closed on Saturday.

They also close early on friday.

B and h has a pretty good selection of underwater photography equipment.

Leisure pro is cool. Re warehouse is in the basement so you can go into the showroom an get online with one of their computers and pick stuff out. They send it up on a conveyor to te showroom so you can check it out. No pressure to buy if you don't want it.
It seems to be owned by the same people that own adorama. It's in the same building and some stuff I for shipped from there came in an adorama box with adorama packing materials.

If you're coming this month, make sure to enter our in-store raffle while you're here: Light Up Your Dives With June’s New Raffle!

We are closed at 1PM on Fridays and don't reopen until 10AM on Sundays. Let me know if there's any way I can help with your upcoming visit.

I went to B and H one Sunday and it was too packed to get in.
