I'm from Stamford, CT and looking for a New Years Eve or Day dive to start the New Year right! I'm sure there are folks planning some dives...clubs or otherwise. Can someone steer me toward them?

Thanks!

United Divers of NH will dive Nubble light. Some of club members spend New Years Eve at the Anchorage Inn on Long Sands Beach They have New Year's Eve dinner and lodging packages starting at $189.95 (Includes a 4-course meal with all of the trimmings. Extended pool hours, poolside cafe open late with hors d'oeuvres, and a champagne toast at midnight) Rooms at York Beach Maine Lodging - "Anchorage Inn" - Maine Lodging Hotel Accommodations

The New England Aquarium dive club will be at Ft Whetherill, RI for New Years Day. I know there's a lot of other shops and clubs that come up there too.

I remember last year one of the clubs/shops on cape cod did a midnight dive (underwater as the year changes). I don't remember which one though.

Just got confirmation, Aquacenter did the new years eve dive last year, and they're doing it again:
Just got the email:
We are going to spend the stroke of midnight underwater again this year!

Join the Aqua Center for a New Years Eve celebration and dive.

The plan is to begin the dive in the last moments of 2007, and surface in the New Year 2008!

Warmth, food, and drinks follow at the dive shop and residence.

Pre-registration is a must! Please sign up by December 15!

You don't have to dive to join us on the beach and at the party afterwards, but we do need a head count for food, etc...

Start the New Year off right, underwater!

E-mail (aqcenter@aol.com) or call 508-888-3444 for more information...!

We in the Old Colony Amphibians, host a New Years dive at Ft Wetherill in Jamestown.
It is not as big as the SECONN event, but we have a good time. The dive is at 12:00
Prizes are awarded right after the dive.
