Last New Years, Algulfdiver organized a little New Years day dive at Alabama Point :cold:. I really enjoyed it and thought we could make it a bit of a tradition to start the year off right. I wasn't sure if everyone wanted to make Alabama Point the spot again this year or make a different shore dive site the location. Maybe once Ft. Pickens road opens we could move the festivities over there?
Anyways, I just wanted to see if there was any interest and to find out where the location would be. I know it is a bit early, but I just wanted to allow people to make plans for it in advance. What do you think Algulfdiver since you kinda started this whole thing? I will post the tide tables for Jan 1, 2009 at a couple locations and we could use it to figure out a good dive time based off that. Regardless, i'm sure it will be at least mid-day before people will want to dive.
