Hi All

New to the board and just thought I'd say hello. I'm always looking for dive buddies to do Whytecliff in West Vancouver. The only catch is: I work til late so I'm really looking for people who can go after 10:30-11:00 PM. I would love to do long multilevel dives with doubles, but would also be perfectly happy diving with single tank divers. If anyone is interested let me know.

Cheers
Barry

Welcome!! Any question you have, you can probably find a post about it in the archives, or just ask away and someone will steer you to an answer.

Cold water night dives. Were I local there, I'd say to sign me up! :)

I dive at Whytecliff, but that's pretty late. You should check out the Western Canada part of the Dive Clubs section. There's a local Vancouver area club being set up. You might have some luck finding someone who's on your schedule.

Hey Barry,

That's definitely in the classification of night diving. Weekends, sure, otherwise, the drive back to white rock would probably kill me. Are you free weekends to dive?

Oh, and welcome to scubaboard.

Thanks for all the nice replies everyone!

Hi Sean

Yes, I'm available for night dives 7 days a week, so weekends would be fantastic. I see from your profile that you are GUE trained. I'm not strictly DIR but my rig is mostly set up that way. I stick to recreational profiles on nitrox (usually max 100') using a Suunto Vyper. I know you GUE types generally stay away from computers, but I'm sure we can work out a way to safely dive together. Let me know when you want to go and I'll be happy to hook up.

Cheers
Barry
