Greetings,

I have been reading peoples' threads lately. It is really good to see a place we can all come together without driving (or flying) for hours.

I have over 260 dives mostly in Ohio and Indiana quarries. I like the ocean when I can get there, which isn't very often. I dive dry, Nitox, deep air, wreck, and cavern. I used to dive every month year round, but since getting married 5 1/2 years ago, I only get in about five to ten dives a year. My sweetie doesn't get into diving like I do. I am no longer in with a group of divers, so finding buddies has been a problem.

What got me on this forum is that I am trying to get my computer out of the console boot. I have tried flexing the boot, but it is stronger than me. I tried putting a blunt tool through the hole in the back of the console, but felt the force required would break the computer. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Good for you that you like quarries! Personally, I'd rather be in clear, blue, 80 degree water! I certified for dry with bronchitis and pneumonia and haven't gotten over THAT experience, too much like work! I prefer the easy, fun stuff.

Have you had your hubbie try to get it out? If you're not strong enough, maybe he is? If not, get out the Sawzall! :chuckle:

Hot water. Soak your console in hot water.

welcome aboard
