New to Ventura CA...and forum too!

Hey All!!

Just moved to the Ventura CA area from San Diego! Can't wait to go dive the Channel Islands!!

I know there is some commercial harvest for Sea Urchins out there... Looking for a good spot to go round a few up to bring home for sushi!! anyone know anywhere good to go?? Thanks, looking foward to participating in the Forum

Yes!!! Much better fresh than from a sushi joint!! Want to get the big red ones. Not the purple ones. Really good fried into a wonton wrapper or just fresh on a ball of rice!!

I hope the fresh stuff is better...a lot better! Took a girl on our 1st date to a sushi place and decided to be adventurous, barely got one down and almost had to spit it out. She loved them though. We didn't go on any more dates
