New to the water world

Hi everybody! My name is Jimmy and I am a born and raised Texan. Recently I moved out to St. Kitts with my girlfriend as she pursues her career in veterinary medicine. While I was out here I went snorkeling with her and we both enjoyed it so much that we decided to make purchases of some gear that would work out with both snorkeling and Scuba. We are hoping to get certified sometime when she gets the chance.

Hoping I can learn some things here on the forums. And hopefully make me more confident in the water without a life jacket (I'm a weenie) .
