Greetings,

My name is don and I'm new to the board but have been reading it for a while and you all seem like some pretty nice divers. I'm new to the board but not the sport. I live in the Orlando area and look forward to meeting some new dive buddies. I never met a diver I didn't like except for maybe the guy that forgot to unbungy his tank before trying to get up and broke my new mask but even he was a nice guy after undoing his bungy Look forward to talking to you all soon!

Welcome aboard, Don!

Cool site, do you dive with that shop?

Where is Aquacatfighter to do the official welcome? She's from your area and better looking than me!

All the best in diving

AND WELCOME TO THE PARTY LINE!! HOPE YOU ENJOY YOURSELF HERE, TOO! :cluck:

Thanks for the welcome,

Greenway Divers is not a shop but a dive club. I started diving 8 years ago and lost my Instructor/best friend in the bahamas on a dive vacation. No he didn't bite the big one diving he met a cute little North Carolina gal came back to Florida packed his gear and did a free dive north to marry her. in the past three years I've been a solo diver hooking up with unfamiliar divers on the east coast dive boats to dive. It always make me nervous to dive with someone I'm not sure of.

Now I'm blessed with 14 other divers that I work with at a DaimlerChrysler car dealer that share the same passion for diving that I do. I sort of got elected the club president by proxy and ended up doing the web site as a tool for dive planning. We had our first outting Aug. 31, 2003 and if you have been to the site you can see we are do for some refresher skills. An out of air situation with one of the group at 80ft was a strong indication of what needs to be done. But they are a great bunch of divers and it's good to have dive buddies again.

Thanks again for the welcome!:thumb:
