Hello,

I am new to this forum so I'd thought I'd say hello. There seems to be quite a few folks from the area, which is great.

I've been diving since '97, mostly in the Cape Ann area. We've been diving just about every weekend this year so far. I've also dove in Hawaii and Palm Beach. Next week a group of us are off to Cozumel! :snorkel: I've never been to Mexico before, so I can't wait.

Cheers!
Jessica

Have fun in Cozumel. Dove there back in the late 1990's and loved it! Went with a non-diver, but I was still able to do two full days of diving. Viz is unbelievable(150+ft at times), water is extremely warm and all dives are very close to each other. Don't forget to go on a snorkeling tour as well(smaller boats are better than the giant party boats). Stayed at the Fiesta Americana something-or-other hotel that had it's own dive boats and rental shop. Nice non-diving activity is a short trip to the Yucatan mainland to visit the Mayan ruins at Tulum or Chichen-Itza(sp?).

Oh, when they say "Don't drink the water", they mean it! Stick to bottled water and beer and your intestines will thank you.
