Hello all,
Just want to say hello to everyone and I hope to learn alot.
I've just skimmed the surface here, but it sure looks like a great site with lots of info and cool people.

Well, I'm off to the appropriate area to post my first questions.....

I am from Phila, Pa. But not for long.

I'll ask my first couple questions right here.
I am not a scuba diver, but hope to learn soon enough.

My immediate interest is actually in snorkeling.

My first question: Is it appropriate to ask snorkeling questions at this site ?

I don't know if snorkeling questions would shall we say, ruffle any feathers among the scuba guys and gals, and I certainly don't want to start any trouble.

I am life long boater and fisherman but very new to getting out of the boat.

I am in the process purchasing enough snorkel gear to outfit a 30 seat boat. Masks, snorkels and fins.
I hope to get advise on who makes the best AND most durable equipment at reasonable prices for quantity purchase.

Would anyone care to share insight / opinions on where I might find a source for "commerical type" DURABLE snorkel gear ?

What make gear are the snorkel businesses using ??

Any of you guys / gals familiar with "Deep Blue" gear ?
Is it durable enough for EVERYDAY commerical use ? Their prices are appealing but will the gear hold up awhile ?

One last question: Which forum here is most appropriate for posting "snorkeling" type questions ??

Thanks for your time, and all opinions / advice are appreciated.
Dennis,
