I am soooo excited...moving to Chicago...for a variety of reasons..and was hoping to get some input on diving the midwest.

Also...any input on pregnancy and getting back to diving after the delivery? How to entertain your dive buddy while unable to go under h2O??

Thank you...nothing but wonderful help from all of you so far.....

Welcome to the chill! Check out http://www.haighquarry.com/ and http://www.pearllake.com

Both are fairly close to you, but they are (obviously) quarries. I've been to Pearl quite a few times. Lots of places to spread out your toys along the shore. Some cute things underwater--submarine, airplane, boats, etc. Viz usually around 10 feet. Lots of training platforms. Let me know if you need any additional info.

Very Interesting. I am headed to the windy city later this month to visit relatives while my fiance is at the McComick center. I will put Chicago as a place to dive and try to visit relatives in the summer months instead of these freezing months.
