Hi, new to this site. I just spent a couple of hours knocking around in here. This stuff is great, not a good as diving, but when it's zero F outside, and the next warm water vacation is a couple of months away, it will do:) Anyone else suffering from diving withdrawl?

Howdy from Houston! Jump right in, the water's great. Lot of good info here.
Dive safe and Enjoy.

I am suffering from withdrawals. I live too far from the ocean. It is really hard to be a diver in the desert.

All vacations are planned around diving now. Still that is only 2-3 times a year.

I hold my breath in the tub. (It doesnt help.):upset:

Welcome you have found my favorite place on the web. As to the withdrawl issue, yup BIG TIME, that's why I'm hear since the bath tub( or even the pool) just does not cut it for me.

Withrawl? Just did a dive on Wed. The water was 41F.

I knew somone would tell me that it's not too cold. (its still me) I dove as cold as 44deg. this year in a wet suit. I haven't yet invested in a dry suit. Eventually, but the wetsuit served me well this year. I've only been diving for about 1 1/2 years but have logged several Lake Michigan and Lake Superior dives this past summer. Love the wreck dives...... Can't wait to get back out ther next summer.
