Hi! I'm new to ScubaBoard but not to diving. I am certified as a Rescue Diver and have logged over 150 dives. I am looking forward to reading about the trips that you all have taken and looking at the awesome photos that I'm sure you will share!

Welcome to ScubaBoard. . . If you haven't found your way around the Forums yet. Go to the top of any page and click on the "Forums" heading. A long list will jump out at you, don't panic, this is a list of everything diving, in the whole world. Scroll down a long way to "Regional Travel. . ." and choose from almost everywhere you'll want to dive. One site that many U.S. divers travel to is Cozumel, Mexico. Click on that sub forum and read about divers that are there right now, just left, or on their way back.

Don't forget to check out the Photo Gallery at the top of the page. . . These long cold days ahead, can be cheered up with pictures of tropical fish, and tropical beaches. A lot of electrons stream out from these forums, don't worry, they're all recycled.

welcome aboard

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've already used the site to search for answers to a few of my questions. What a great resource! Two upcoming trips for me: Truk and Palau, and Great Barrier Reef and Australia. Any comments and/or suggestions are welcome!

Hi !!! I\'m new on this site too. I am a new diver, just got my advanced open water cert and am having a blast with underwater discovery!! So much info, so much to catch up on (all the fun). Time\'s a wastin\'! I am mostly fresh water with all the lakes around, Lake Jocassee has some really neat stuff just for divers and then there\'s the hothole at Keowee that stays approximately 78 degrees even in colder weather. Try us sometime!!!
