Hi obviously I am new since the title of this thread is "new to scuba board". I have only been diving since September of 2006 and interested in learning were some of the great diving locations are for the carribean. I have dove in the Adriatic, Keys, and Hawaii. All have been great dive experiences but there is more to see.

Open to suggestions for locations, hotels, dive shops with each area.


I hope this doesn't become a free for all on responses.

Domincan Republic, cheap flights, very good reefs, no fish. Barbados, good reefs, a lot of fish and turtles, etc. Curacao, great reefs, shore diving, a lot of fish, turtles, etc.
