Hello all, I am just a new user from Victoria, Canada. I am an Instructor level diver and I dive on the Island. We are cold water divers here :penguin: , so I love to take a holiday to warmer waters. I have been to Cozumal and that was beautiful and will soon be taking a trip to Thailand. I can't wait. :D I am glad to be here, this seems to be one of those places that everyone belongs to, I am just a little embarrassed that it took so long to get here myself. Now that I am though, I look forward to talking with you all. :snorkel:

Welcome to the board. On your warm water dive trips don't forget to include Los Angeles. Great diving and a balmy 52-62 degree water, er.... I guess that still qualifies as cold water, but warmer than your normal.

Canada, Eh ?

Welcome to ScubaBoard my neighbor to the north :D

Hi Tidbit and welcome to SB from sunny California.

We have a lot of Canadians posting here, and if you want to talk warm waters - we have even more of us wusses. :D Hope to see you around, and be sure to register for the Instructors forum. PM me if I can help...

Don't forget to ask for access to the Instructor 2 Instructor forum! :)

It's a great place for us Dive Pros to swap hints, tips, suggestions, and moral support.

Hope to see you there! :thumb:

Welcome Tidbit. Look forward to hearing from you. You will really enjoy this place, lots of great people.

Welcome! My friend is currently diving around there working on getting her DM cert. 3mm is thick enough for me! (yes, I'm a wuss) :)

Wanna dive warm, come visit the philippines! bring the family. You can live here for a week for what you'll pay for a day in thailand. But Thailand is a great place. Enjoy southeast asia!
