Hello All! I am new to the Diving community btu very excited to get my feet wet (Many, many times)

I got certified in Septemebr of 2010 and did my first "Real" dive in Mazatlan December 31. It was an experience. The visibility was crap but it was still cool to be out there on our own for the first time.

We are heading to the Cancun area in July and can not wait and I understand that side of Mexico the diving is completly different.

I am looking for advise on Dive operations and sites that are worth checking out in the Area.

Thanks and I look forward to getting my feet wet! :blinking:

You will freak how clear the water is on the Yucatan Peninsula. When my wife and I started snorkeling 6 years ago on our trip to Zihuatanejo, we were very disappointed in the water clarity and lack of fish. But when we went to Cozumel 4 years ago, the Caribbean waters were incredible. 60-80 feet visibility with plentiful fish.

Enjoy!
