Hey there, I'm new to Scuba Board and kind of new to diving. Got certified just 3 years ago and super excited to connect with other divers. I mainly do lake diving here in Arkansas but want to go more places elsewhere.

Could someone please tell me how to do a direct message to someone. I just don't see the button the internet is saying is there. I would like to send a fellow diver from a recent dive trip a link to a video with him in it.

I think the algorithm requires a minimum number of posts from you before you can send a direct message.

thers an envelope icon on the top right side of the menu bar -click on that and then start typing the name your looking for starting with @

Thank you for your response, unfortunately I just don't have permission or something? I did click on the envelope but all I can do is look at my previous direct messages. No other option is available. Thanks again...I sent a message to the director because I had his email address in my outlook contacts...helpfully he will be able to help. There might be some issue with having to post x amount of posts to qualify for direct messaging?
