New to Scuba Board

Hello all,

I'm a newbie to Scuba Board, so not sure how this works. Both myself and husband are AOWD and Nitrox qualified, been diving for around four years. Most of this have been in Egypt which we love.

We're off to Egypt again in August, hoping to dive the Thistlegorm again.

My husband turns 45 in July and requires a medical certification to confirm he is fit to dive. Can this be a straight forward letter from your GP of does he have to undergo some sort of fitness assessment ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard!

I highly recommend actually seeing a physician that has some knowledge of dive medicine. Although your GP can do a routine fitness assessment he will not have any idea what pertains to scuba.
