Welcome! How's life in Costa Rica? Are you working there, or did you retire there?

I've visited once, and it seems to have a lot going for it as an ex-pat destination.

Working for an international. I'm only 28 so far too young to retire just yet!

Some may know it but at least I didn't... the majority of jobs now in fintech in Costa Rica is actually for large internationals so it's not too uncommon to find this situation here. The only downside is I spend most of my time in the capital San Jose which is very boring in comparison to what everyone comes here for!

At least it's within a few hours drive, albeit I do miss the ease of travelling many European countries cheaply (even the neighbouring country flights are expensive here comparatively).
