Wanted to introduce myself. My name is David, I'm from Nashville, TN and moved to West Palm Beach about 2 years ago to pursue a career in SCUBA. Started diving when I was about 14, got certified at a summer camp. I dove with my parents a couple times a year and then got out of diving for several years, mainly to attend school (MTSU). Started off college to become a commercial airline pilot but it didn't work out due to an underlying medical condition that wasn't found until about two years into flight school. After recovering from surgery and not knowing what I wanted to do for a career I decided to give diving a shot since I always loved diving when I was younger.

Started my advanced certifications with Divers Direct in West Palm Beach, when Divers Direct switched from SSI to PADI I followed my instructor to West Marine and finished my Divemaster there with Guardian SCUBA. Working on my Dive Control Specialist with a new instructor at Guardian SCUBA, not sure if I want to go on to instructor or not yet. I would like to start rebreather training after I finish my DCS and get into some technical diving.

I like wreck diving and underwater photography, I spend a lot of time at the Blue Heron Bridge taking pictures. Waiting tables in Palm Beach Gardens to pay for diving, hope to be doing something soon professionally in the dive industry.
