It's going to be about 2-3 miles from the West End depending on which house it is. It's physically a little closer but the road goes slightly inland b4 you get to the West End so it's a little longer ride. In that area afaik there's only the one road that runs near the water - most of Roatan is like that. West Bay is a few miles west of the West End.
The closest physical dive outfit that I know of would be Anthony's Key Resort but since it's an AI resort, I don't know if you can dive with them daily without staying there. You can do the Dolphin Dive - we did. They also do daily cruise ship dives so maybe that's an option. Or possibly check with Bay Islands Beach Resort, they're to the east of there.
Otherwise afaik the next two closest diveops would be in the West End, Coconut Tree Divers or Native Sons. Both are on Half Moon Bay and their boats are right out front.
Restaurants in the West End that we liked: Argentinean Grille and Mavis & Dixies on the water. M&D might be closed now

Sundowners is the beach bar that a lot of divers go to - right on the water near the Grille. Rotisserie Chicken a couple blocks west is a good deal, two chickens and all the extras were about $20 and it was excellent. Dine there or takeout.
Here it is on a map. The small cluster of blue boxes on the water to the left of "Sandy Bay" is probably where your house is - there's several in that area. AKR is just east of there and BIBR past that. The bay with the cluster of blue boxes by Cannibal Cafe is Half Moon Bay where CTDivers and Native Sons are located - right where it says Roatan Rentals. CTD fronts on the road you can see ending at the water there - Native Sons was just past the corner to the right IIRC. We dove with Coconut Tree two years ago, I highly recommend them. West Bay is off the map to the south.
Depending on which house you're renting, you might have shore dive access to Spooky Channel. That's a great dive.
