Hey, I am going to be getting my diving liscence. I own a boat in plymouth and plan to possible do some diving. What are some good places to dive for a new diver around the MA area. Tips for a new diver would also be greatly appreaciated.

I live in Plymouth and would be glad to go diving with you once you're certed. For the most part I and my buds dive within an hour boat ride of the harbor, and we get wet at least once a week. Once summer hits we're diving 2-3 days a week. Go talk to Wayne, Kim or Greg at Divers Market in North Plymouth. THey are forming a Dive Society for locals to get together regularly and dive. If you dive at all regularly, your discounted air fills will pay for your membership, plus they have a bunch of other deals for members. (Full disclosure, I'm not associated with DM in any professional capacity, I just live nearby and trade there.)

At the very least Lenny and I will be diving next weekend, I don't know if my GF will. We dive wet and she's smarter than I am. :D

You're welcome to come play once you get a card.

Thanks man, sounds like a good time. I'll be getting my cert through that diving place in plymouth. My parents boat is docked at Brewers Yachts. I am 17, me and my dad want to get our certs and do some diving. It looks like a good time, with the boat we bought too, it'll make it that much easier.
