Greetings everyone,
Me, my wife, and my son (13) took a descover diving class about two weeks ago and loved it. This is something that i have always wanted to do and can't wait to go "deeper" into the sport. My wife was a little worried at first because she is a little clostrophobic but she and my son really enjoyed it. We have signed up for the full certification class in a few weeks and look foward to hitting the water. Im sure there is a lot of great diving here in Florida so any sugestions about places to try first are definately welcome.

Welcome to Scubaboard....Places to try first would depend on where you are in Florida......Places that have good viz are usually a good starting point.......

There's a friend of ours that is also clostrophobic and she feels better in the clear waters of the north Florida springs.

What is home base?

One of our dive buddies is claustrophobic and only dives the warm clear waters of the Caribbean. But I know she has been on three night dives, so she is making huge progress.

Enjoy the journey of SCUBA.
