Hello all.
We are a scuba diving family (to include an OWSI, a DiveMaster and a JR OW diver). We are currently in Okinawa Japan finishing up our final leg of a three year tour with the Marine Corps. We will be relocating to Jax in April. Over the past three years we have become addicted to diving due to the year round access here on Oki. Could anyone provide us with any info on the following subjects:
1. Blackbeard cruises
2. Ultimate getaway liveaboard
3. Diving in Jax and vicinity
4. Job openings for female OWSI with specialties
5. Family oriented scuba clubs
Any help and info would be greatly appreciated. You can email us at xanadu@konnect.net

Dive safe!

Diving in Jax is great.Lotsa stuff to see.Vis is usually 20'-50' inshore and 50'-100' offshore .depths range from 60' to deep.Water temps bottom at 46 on a bad year inshore 50s normally and 68 offshore,hi temps are 90 inshore and hi80s offshore in August usually.Try atlanticprodivers.com for some pics and info.Springs and caves are as close an hour or 2 away. The market here is saturated with Instructors as it is a good way to write off a lotta normal diving costs.I personally know over 20 instructors and only the one directly employed by a diveshop get enough buisness to add any income.
