The only way it's going to lock you out is if you ignore a deco ceiling by 3 mins

In 4 year and 500 dives with mine, I've severely annoyed it a few times by ignoring SS on fast ascent (CESA and up currents) and it might bleat at the surface but nothing more.

And before you come back with how good the Perdix is, I have one of those too. I brought one to see what all the fuss is about.

So far I've not found it to be any better that the Eon. It's screen is certainly inferior.

The only advantage (so far) is that I can plan Buhlmann rather than planning mixed algorithms, which really hasn't' been an issue up to now.
