I finally bit down and spent the money for an Inon D-2000. Now I have to learn to use it. What will I need to change on my camera settings? Any hints on using it and settings would also be helpful. Thanks in advance....Oh ya, it's going on my 5060

Not sure I'd be the right person to tell you what to change since I'm just an average photographer.... but... I have a C5050 and also have the Inon 2000W. I think it is wonderful. I find that on land I have a lot more patience and ability to change settings to accommodate the pictures I want to take than underwater. To make it easier underwater, I went for a dive and took some shots under normal, macro, supermacro and wide angle conditions. I looked at what worked and used those settings. That evening, I made some "My Mode" settings to accommodate the types of photos I wanted to take. I have # 1 set on the generic 2-3' away from a creature, #2 is for macro shots, #3 is for Supermacro and #4 is for wide angle. After a night dive, I also made #5 for night diving. I now can change the cmera underwater to one of my My Mode settings quickly without fiddling with too many buttons. It's worth a try.

Just ordered the Inon D-2000 Package and Macro for my Canon S80/Canon Case from Reef Photo. Hope it gets here before I go to Maui at the end of the month. Toys, more toys!

you'll need to set your camera to slave...and you need to check it every time you change the batteries in the camera as it switches back...very important...lost too many good shark picture opportunities because the stupid thing reset itself and stupid me didn't check

Now, WC don't spend all your money honey.

okay, I am just jealous. I want the 8" port, a pony, another dx125, oh...and that boat. Oh, and can I have some cash please for PNG? Might have to sell the first born after all.

You will find the club dive Sunday wonderful because the leader Dan is a photog and I find the dives geared for photographers.

Congrats! I expect to see your images around here soon.

Wait your turn Catherine...I'm first in line and he already has my list :D

So many women, so little money.....
I sure hope it gets here before I hit the BI again, thats why I bought it.
