New Sony Digicams

Sony just released new digicams. Looks like the woken up to the fact that the were getting left behind in the prosumer section:

They've also upgraded their point-and-shoot cams to 5mp:

I wonder if they will bring out a marine pack for it - they never did for the DSC-85 which I have - rather than rely on the more expensive options....

Jonathan, thanks for the heads up. Pretty exciting stuff. Would love to get my hands on a P10, hot little camera.

An UW case is a safe bet for the P8 and P10 since they're pretty close to the P9. Probably not going to happen on the other new camera. We'll see.

I think thanks to ReyeR and not me....

It's strange because just last week I was talking to people about Sony cameras and thought it strange my DCS-85 was still the current model after 18months and that they must be bringing out a 5meg camera soon to keep up with the others.

Anyone from Sony out there want to give me a job?!
