Are the many changes? I tried following the links and couldn't find this info.

This is the 3rd update of the stable version (2002, 2057 and this- 2134)

I tend to update my SD card as they are released...obviously, it would seem reasonable that they fix "something"

It doesn't hurt to do so, and you won't lose your settings if you back up the cfg file then copy it back after unzipping CHDK to your card

Looks like the change is "Renaming CHDK version for better differentiation of the stable (CHDK-DE) and developer (CHDK_DE) version" per WIKI

Doesn't look like it affected actual performance

I have a S100 and have been try without success to get CHDK to run. I am most likely skipping some simple step. Can someone take me trough the proper steps to install it?
Should I d/l the COMPLETE file or the SMALL? Just unzip to the SD card? I am working with a iMac but if it is easier with a windows machine I can do that. Is there a MAC program to make the SD card boot?

Still trying to get CHDK to work. It may be the firmware version I have. Used a program ACID to check the firmware, and I got this:

Does that make any sense to anyone?

Sorry I can't help with iMac..I use a windows 7 64 bit computer. I use the "Complete version"

High level format the SD card in the camera

Then run (I use this program) EOScard to make the SD card bootable (use a card reader or one built into the PC)

The unzip CHDK directly to the card via the card reader (you look like you are trying to loadrelease "a"...you need to check the camera to verify which firmware you have (ACID or cameraView work well)...the CHDK version must align with your firmware version...according to your JPEG it looks like your firmware version "101a"...so the downlaod is the 101a-1.1.0 full version

Lock the SD card and start (power on) the camera......CHDK should automatically load. Push "play back" button to toggle CHDK. Hold the play back button longer for playback

It looks like they just updated to version #2136 yesterday
