Does anyone know whether the redesigned Recsea S95 rear door with the extra O-ring and large rear dial can be fitted to the earlier S95 housing?

I would really like to do the same thing, maybe at the time it needs dealer maintainance.

Thanks for the posts - I'll ask Recsea about this and see what they say. - Scott

At which stage did Recsea start with the new back door? Seems that it happened in conjunction with the launch of the S100 housing
With the result that even on the Recsea website the S95 housing shows with the old design

any update on this as i quite like to get this done on mine, esp after just having two leaks

Yes, it can be done, although it is not cheap. Recsea gave me some pricing. Shoot me an email and I'll give you all the details - Scott

The original housing was very expensive. Surely if they have changed the design because of problems with the old one Recsea should be offering to do this for free?

According to the UK distributor the transparent Oring inside the door introduced with the new design is not serviceable
So it would seem that Oring just gives a confidence boost the seal comes from the Oring around the door as with the previous question
On this basis am not sure of the actual improvement of the new design in that respect while clearly the rear dial control looks better
