I'm not married to any particular training agency, nor am I swapping spit with any of my instructors (although Alan Williams, my NAUI instructor for my OW/Drysuit certs is, IMHO, the MAN). I'm here to learn and to glean any and all useful information. That said, my team is bankrolling my outside training, so I don't have the luxury of picking the agencies that instruct me in my craft. I'm a lowly county employee who is certainly not well-heeled enough to get the Cadillac gear or instruction I'd otherwise like to get were I getting it on my dime. As we say in my line of work, my prime objective is to go home at night to my wife, and I always take a vested interest in anything that facilitates that end.

In short, I'm having too much fun to die.

I did a little research into ERDI, and I liked what I saw a LOT, FWIW.
