So glad to share that we’ve released the new D26 2800 light. It’s a high-intensity dive light, delivering max 2800lm output with a 7°ultra-narrow beam, and up to 450m throw. Interested to see a RL comparison of this light with the D26 1600S (my main light at the moment) and the D40 zoom.
And excited to see how this holds up in the dutch murky waters.

Hope it don't inherit D26 1600S problems with driver cut off in cold water

Caveat emptor! Bought that light as new year gift for my "buddy".
Light was taken to three ice dives - and all are fails. Tried three different cells - fresh charged,
two 26650 and one 18650 via adapter.
In cold water (+4 - +6 deg.C) when light is turned on - it instantly drops to minimal mode with green indication.
Tried to switch light off/on again - it produced flash of maximal mode and drops to minimal mode with green indication.
