New Orleans Diver

I have been following this forum for a long time now and figured I would finally join in, say hello and introduce myself. I moved here to New Orleans about a year ago from Phenix City, Alabama. Figured I would be closer to diveable water but just my luck Im about the same distance!! Anyway, my name is Thomas and I have been diving for about 3 years now and wish I could quit my job and dive for a living. Went to Bonaire in June and was trying to figure out a way I could become the resorts live-in hvac repair specialist for free room and board and air tanks!!! (actually still waiting to hear from them again) Anyway, just thought I would get on here and say hello and hope to meet some of yall underwater some time!

Hi Thomas! I'm in New Orleans also (Uptown). I've only been diving for about a year and wish I had to money to do it more often than I do, but I'd love to be friends with any other local divers!!

Let me know when you plan to make your dive. I'll give it a shot. Almost jumped off of the twin spans on the way back from AL the other day...
