New Open Water diver from Michigan

Hi All,

I am a new Open Water diver and new to SB as well. I live in Michigan and maybe someday will entertain the idea of diving the Great Lakes with the plethora of fascinating shipwrecks they have, but right now I love warm water and will dive on vacation every year somewhere tropical. My husband and I received our certification in October 2013. I love to look at the trip reports on SB for great dive shops and resorts/hotels for the upcoming vacation (as well as the ones to stay away from!).
