Went vintage diving in the Okanagan this weekend and tried out some new toys.

Did some diving with my Mistral and even got my three kids a little exposure. There's something to be said for the fact that my older son can strap on a steel 72 with no weights and be able to maintain trim in 6 feet of water.
After some lake diving I decided to do a drift dive down the river channel that connects Okanagan lake and Skaha lake. I managed to do a two hour, 2 mile drift in 6-10 feet of water. O'Neil 3/2 one piece, no BC, 3lb's of lead.

You have useable Otaries? I envy you, I really do. The Otaries were, and still are, my favorite fin. It's too bad they are no longer in production.

Not only that but my son fits my medium Voit A6 Vikings!
His first dive and he's using no BC, a Mistral and early 60's era skin diving gear :eyebrow:
I loved the Expan btw, it was a hoot to blow bubbles out my nose.
