The Wellenring is a dive boat in Indonesia, small (3 cabins) but quite nice. We are on two back to back trips, Sorong - Kaimana then Kaimana to Kaimana. Only pain is getting from Kaimana back to civilization.

Is that a high-end boat?

Just found it, € 2,450.00 per night :)
That’s to charter the boat, so €400/$450 per night per person. Actually cheaper than Samambaia, $7k USD for 11 nights. That’s an interesting area—Have a great trip. (Bill, am I right in thinking there’s a lot of macro on the southwest coast of Papua, thus the workout for the MFO?)

Oh, that's much better and reasonable. I'd want to go on this boat if it goes to exciting places and is camera-friendly.

I was planning to buy the MFO-1 but delaying it until after my trip to Belize next month. However, afraid of tariff price increases, I ordered it on Sunday at $474. Today, the price is up to $550. (I still will not get it right away, because it is out of stock everywhere).
