come and join me and lets light some Super Lolos !!!! with Moonie riding one or a couple of them.

:05:

I could actually show you how to make your own Lolos, assuming that is a rocket. I thought the word lolo actually meant something else, but I won't go there. ha ha

I've often thought about trying to setup a small scale fireworks factory if I moved there. My garage is pretty much a fireworks factory anyway, it would be fun to take it to the next level

kyle,

you are in luck, they just started the yearly FIREWORKS FESTIVAL at manila bay. where they rent barges off manila bay and have a contest of their fireworks design. a very safe activity where the spectators are watching from the baywalk and the barges very well off .

ask your wifes "pinsan" here in the philipipnes what a super lolo is .

when youget here , better make it into a hobby, say light rocket launching for some rockets at first with remote igniters. for hobbies.

Technically fireworks making is currently a hobby for me, but I do have a business publishing information for all the other hobbyists that make fireworks all over the world: www.passfire.com

I make the real money selling the ShowSim software for choreographing commercial fireworks displays. That is a new business for me though, so I have to wait and see how well it does before moving to the Phils.

I've won a good many competitions here in America where the hobbyists compete against each other with their fireworks. This is not the same as the big show competitions where commercial display companys try to out-do one another, it is more of a technical competition where individual fireworks pieces built by a single person are judged one at a time. It's a lot of fun and you see some pretty crazy and large fireworks that you would never see anywhere else.

Are there people in the Phils who build fireworks or rockets as a hobby? I was wondering how hard it would be to get the required chemicals there.

The way the hurricanes have been getting bigger and closer to hitting my house every year, I figure I better get out of here SOON because one of these days my home is going to get flattened and I don't want to be holding the title when it does.

there are registered companies that make fireworks here.

so you need to get the necessary permits (a gruelling process ) then you may purchase them chemicals needed importation is another matter but you may have industrial companies import it for you.

rockets not yet as a hobby here. the strategy is to have them kids of the rich to start the hobby. then it would be tolerated.
