Hi, I am a new diver in the Sacramento Area (Rocklin). I have been dive just under one year and I have just under 100 dives. These have all been temperate water dives on the California coast (I cannot afford to take my entire family of five to a tropical location and I cannot get away with going without them).

I try to dive at least once or twice a month and I have made three trips to the channel islands. I goals include getting into increasing my fitness for scuba and getting into decompression diving.

I have a fair fitness level (enough to pass the dive master stamina tests), but I woudl like to improve to at least a good fitness level to feel better about my diving.

I like to think of myself as a safe diver. I am by no means a perfect diver, bu I think about diving a lot and I spend a lot of time thinking about how I can do things better and what kind of trouble I can get myself into.

I am looking for other intermediate divers in my eara that are thinking about getting into technical diving in the next 6-18 months.
