name is jason. I have been diving since 05 with my older brother at our local lake. just recently got my padi open water (4 months ago). taking the advanced class next weekend. I do plan on going as far as i can cert wise.

never been in a ocean, or deeper than 60ft. our local lake vis is anywhere from 1-15ft depending on the day, weather etc.

Well welcome to the board. There are some great local groups in the area you can try out if your interested. The Oklahoma Aquanauts are based out of both Tulsa and Oklahoma City www.oklahomaaquanauts.com as well as the broken arrow divers which is more north east OKlahoma. We do go to Tenkiller alot though.

Hopefully you can join us on some great diving sometime though!

had a couple that dive tenkiller at my local lake (lake murray) this past weekend. i def need some dive buddies. everyone that i use to dive with either stopped or are on to different hobbies.

Well your welcome to join us at any time. If you have not dove Tenkiller yet you should try it at least once. We are going to do a pumpkin Carving underwater on October 7th if you are interested in attending. We are also working on a getting a small treasure hunt together too!

very close to OU. very active group dive each week 52 week a year. i believe believe leigh anne is as good as they come and is very highly credentialed.

Just realized I gave the wrong date. The pumpkin Carving is at Tenkiller Scuba Park October 21 at 11 am. There is a 10 dollar pay in advance fee at Poseidon Adventures - Tulsa's Center for Scuba Diving Certification, Training, and Equipment (5 for Broken Arrow Diver Members) and if you wait till the day of its 20 bucks. Bring your own pumpkin

The Oklahoma Aquanauts are sinking a boat on Oct. 6 at the Tenkiller Scuba Park. You are welcome to come and join us. We also have 415+ members throughout Oklahoma with a chapter in OKC and Tulsa.

I used to live near Medicine Park and was stationed at Ft. Sill for 7 years. I miss it there, beautiful place. I spent a few hours diving the lake there, too.
